Enneagram results.

After taking the Enneagram personality test and getting my results back, it has come to a conclusion that I am Type Two, a helper. According to the test a helper is someone who must help others and be loved, or as the world's view: people depend on my help. An overall statement would be I must be helpful and caring to be loved. At 9types.com it describes a healthy loop and unhealthy loop of becoming or being a type two person. It states that with being a helper, you crave being loved, or in love. By receiving that love, you come out to others to help them with any situation, and by doing that you have created love for yourself and with the person who you have helped. Unfortunately it did say that when a helper is not helping others or being loved, their desire to feel that way increases. It can cause Type Two's to feel resentful and may even manipulate others to love them.
So after taking this test and getting my results, do I think that I am a helper? In many ways I completely agree with this personality test, but in others I do not. I would have to describe myself as a care giver. I do help people in need, and even sometimes I care more about other people's problems then I do myself. If I would have taken this personality test a couple years ago, I would fit into the category perfectly. According to, Baron and Wagele - Enneagram Made Easy, they stated that helper's are warm, concerned, nurturing, and sensitive to other people's needs. Exactly what I was, a few years ago, but over the period of my freshman year in college I have made a few changes to make myself happier in the way I want to be, and I believe I'm changing for the better. So overall, this test was correst in some ways.
Hey everyone, my name is Terra Schilling, I am nineteen years old, and I am from Billings, Montana. I'm currently a second semester freshman at the University of Montana. As of right now I am in the pre-nursing department, but I'm also considering elementary education. I know two completely different fields, but I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do for a living. This happens to be my first time blogging, so I'm pretty new with everything about blogging. For my writing class, we have to blog about assignments that the teacher assigns. As for writing I'm hoping that this class will help me improve my writings skills and have a better understanding of what a good writer is. Writing is not my strong suit, so I'm hoping that I will get a lot out of this class. I know that if I want any part of becoming a elementary teacher, I will need to know the foundation of writing and as with nursing.
Now a little background information about myself. I have the most incredible family, they are my number one support system. I am, however, an only child, but we do have two milk chocolate colored, miniature dachshunds. I enjoy any activity that is outside, whether its snowboarding, camping or hiking, I love it all. I mostly, thought, spend all my time snowboarding. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been involved in all sorts of sports. I had been doing gymnastics for about ten years or so, and now I'm a coach for the same gymnastics school that I went to. It's an amazing job! I enjoy many things from eating my favorite ice cream, mint chocolate chip, to watching movies with my girlfriends. I'm having the time of my life, and making everyday the best I can.
